Stop snoring ...NOW!

man snoring

Snoring is a very common sleep disorder. This disorder is very common amongst men and gets worse as one age. Snoring in itself can also be a sign of a serious sleep disorder called sleep apnea which in itself is a very dangerous sleeping disorder.
Snoring is a sound resulting from turbulent airflow that causes tissues of the nose and throat to vibrate and give rise to snoring during sleep.

The general assumption is that only large people with thick necks snore. This is very not true.
Anyone can snore, even pets snore! Research shows that more than 80 million North Americans snore while sleeping. National Institutes of Health (NIH) found that 30% of the population under 40 years of age snores, while 50% over the age of 60 does.
Imagine having to sleep in the same bedroom with a snoring husband or wife, night after night. The funny thing is that most people who snore never agree that they do. Snore sounds sometimes can measure up to 90 decibels, the same value like in the case of as a passing train.

There are so many methods out there to stop snoring but treatment for snoring differs from person to person. I once had a friend whose snoring almost broke up his marriage. He had tried almost everything including home remedies for snoring, over the counter snoring remedies, snoring nasal spray, snoring strips, stop snoring spray, snore reduction pillows and even "stop snoring surgery".
Nothing worked for him. The last time I heard from him he started exercise to stop snoring (being overweight sometime causes snoring) and was seeing noticeable difference finally. His wife had adapted and was now using ear plugs for snoring!

That's just one mans story. It does not have to be yours. Like they say different strokes for different folks. The ultimate question is,” Is there a super cure for snoring that works for all snorers"? The answer is No.
But if you ask me, "Are there treatments for snoring that have worked over the years for snorers"?
The answer is yes!

Snoring can be hard to stop only if you do it all by yourself. That's why I set up this page. Click through the links below to know how to read more on snoring and get those nagging "snore questions" answered.

If you can't sleep, then get up and do something instead of lying there worrying.  It's the worry that gets you, not the lack of sleep.  ~Dale Carnegie
