Natrol Melatonin Supplement: Timed release, Liquid, 3mg, 5mg

One of the most popular brands of melatonin supplements is Natrol Melatonin. Like most brands of melatonin supplements it is should be available at your local health store, since melatonin is sold as an everyday dietary supplement. Doctors have recommended it to their patients and patients (including myself) have recommended it to fellow patients. Natrol’s brand of melatonin comes in two forms. A. The Liquid form, which is usually recommended for children but can also be used by adults who don’t like taking pills. B. Pill and capsules forms for adults. Dosages include 1mg, 3mg, 5mg and it is also available in timed release melatonin form.
Timed release melatonin is based on the timed release drug technology. Drugs based on this technology work unlike normal pills. They release melatonin constantly deliver melatonin into your blood stream at regular intervals.
This helps you to sleep without waking up in between being unable to sleep anymore. It is mostly recommended for people who have irregular sleep patterns. Please check the timed release melatonin page to learn more.
Why Natrol?? Apart from being one of the cheapest brands in the market, it also does not leave the after effects other brands of melatonin supplements tend to leave. Calcium, hydrogenated vegetable oil, stearic acid, silica, magnesium stearate and cellulose gum, Maltodextrin, Acacia and does not contain yeast, wheat, corn, milk, egg, soy, glutens, artificial colours, added sugar, starch, preservatives or animal derivatives.
Their pills are also small in size, which makes it is easier to swallow. They advise that Natrol should be taken 20-30 minutes before bedtime, and you need to follow your prescriptions or normal dosage. If you still can’t sleep after your normal dosage, please consult your doctor. Melatonin Drug Interactions. Like other melatonin supplements, it should not be taken with other sleeping pills as it may cause heavy drowsiness. Pregnant and breast-feeding women have been told to stay away from melatonin as not enough information is known about the potential damage that can be done to the foetus. See my melatonin and drug interactions page for a list of drugs that should not be taken with melatonin.
